Trash Bill Payment InformationTo view your account information or to pay your trash bill online, please visit your Trash Bill Account Portal. The online account portal is for the payment of a trash bill only, all water and sewer utility payments are to be directed to the Mid-Ohio Water and Sewer District. If you are registering for the first time, you will need the following information:
In-person payment: Payments can be delivered to the Municipal Building, 800 Village Blvd. Plain City, OH 43064. Please utilize the secure payment drop-box in the vestibule if visiting after regular business hours.
Payment by mail: Please mail payments to the Village of Plain City, c/o Trash Payment, P.O. Box 167, 800 Village Blvd., Plain City, OH 43064.

- Trash Account Number
- Your address exactly as it appears on your trash bill
- The email address that you have provided to the Village

Payment Processing ReminderBill payments made on or after the 25th of the month might not be reflected in the upcoming billing statement. To ensure accurate billing and to avoid any potential inconvenience, we kindly ask you to make your payments before the 25th of each month.
Paperless Billing InformationThe Village of Plain City offers residents the ability to enroll in paperless billing for trash bills. To enroll in paperless billing, please complete the Paperless Billing for Refuse Collection Service Enrollment Form and return to the Village Offices either in person or via email.
Important
By enrolling in paperless billing for trash bills, residents are responsible for the payment of charges every month. Payment is due even if one of the following occurs:
- The electronic delivery was not received.
- Email address has been changed without notifying the Village of Plain City.
- Circumstances beyond the Village's control prevent the proper transmission of the paperless trash bill delivery.
Trash Payment FAQsVillage of Plain City residents pay a quarterly trash bill. Water and sewer utility bills are paid through the Mid-Ohio Water and Sewer District.
- Bills are due by the 15th of the last month in each quarter.
- Bills not paid by the 15th day of the billing cycle become delinquent and will be subject to a 10% penalty charge.
- If any bill is not paid by the 25th day of the following month, the trash collection service is eligible to be discontinued without further notice.
- Payments received after 2:30 PM shall be credited to the following business day.
- The late payment charge will be based on current charges only. The late payment charge shall not be compounded on future delinquencies.
